Tier compression
Tier compression skips an inactive person in a chain of uplines and pays their share to the next active one above. ViralPayouts does not do it: if a seller’s recruiter cannot be paid, the override is simply not paid.

In more detail
Compression comes from multi-level compensation plans, where a chain can be many levels deep. Some multi-level affiliate tools offer it as an option; in our competitor research GoAffPro lists level compression on its Business plan.
With only two levels there is nobody further up to roll a share to. The brand keeps the unpaid override, and our fee is charged on the commission alone.
