Cookie window (attribution window)
The cookie window is how long after a click a sale still counts for the affiliate. A 30-day window credits a purchase made up to 30 days after the click.
Also called: attribution window, cookie duration, cookie life, referral window.
Worked example: A 30-day window, click on 1 June

Longer windows suit products people think about before buying. The rule for which click wins when a buyer clicks two affiliates’ links is separate: first click or last click.
